Sinclair Story
A few free chairs, some paint, fabric remnants, and lots of fun! They say do what you love; Well, here I am! My family's blood line of working with their hands goes back many generations. My great grandfather was a stone carver and constructed many significant structures like Grant's Tomb and the Washington Square Monument. My great uncle was an architect that had a hand in designing the stained glass windows inside St. Patrick's Cathedral in Manhattan. Many of my family have talents ranging from carpenter to tailor, a painter and even a magazine editor! With each piece that I make I try to harness that creative talent that has been passed down to me.
I started my journey when I met my husband over 30 years ago. He taught me the tools of the trade and together we've made a business and a life together. Now, with the skills and creative talents I've acquired over the years I've started a new journey; to create my own one-of-a-kind pieces.
